Last week, I spent the day on Granville Island on the mainland. I had gotten up early to catch the 8:00am ferry to Tsawwassen…only to find out that they didn’t the first ferry of the day was at 9:00am. (At the moment BC Ferries are under staffed, so they have a reduced schedule). Undeterred, albeit a bit cranky for having to get up so early for no reason, I set off on my mainland adventure.
I had only one destination I was interested in going to this time: Granville Island. I thought it would be a good idea to see this tourist destination, before the peak of the tourist season “post” COVID.
It was everything I had expected it to be. I wondered through a couple of galleries, some overpriced stores, some craft stores, and finished with a turmeric latte at a coffee shop.
Of course, in my excitement of the adventure, I forgot to take photos of the ferry, the stores and coffee shop I visited…but did remember to take some photos of Granville.
